Role Overview:
The Finance Officer is a trusted operational leader responsible for supporting the financial integrity, day-to-day management, and accountability of Infinite Wave Foundation. This role works closely with the Executive Team, Bookkeeper, and Board of Directors (particularly the Director of Strategic Finance & Impact Investment) to ensure accurate reporting, timely reconciliation, and sound financial practices that align with IWF’s mission and charitable obligations.
While not a voting member of the Board, the Finance Officer plays a key behind-the-scenes role in keeping IWF fiscally healthy, audit-ready, and positioned for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial tracking, bank reconciliation, and coordination with Bookkeeper
Prepare monthly financial summaries and assist with Board-level financial reports
Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
Ensure timely filing of charity-related documents and compliance with CRA financial regulations
Support audits, payroll coordination, and year-end reporting processes
Maintain clear, organized digital records and financial documentation
Uphold internal controls, expense tracking systems, and financial best practices
Maintain proactive communication with the Board Chair, Treasurer, and Executive Team to ensure alignment on financial decisions and priorities
Provide consistent updates to the Executive Team and collaborate closely with other directors to align development strategies with organizational goals
Qualifications:
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or nonprofit financial administration
Familiarity with CRA charitable requirements and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and cloud-based file management
Detail-oriented with high integrity, discretion, and organizational skills
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Role Overview:
The Marketing Officer amplifies IWF’s brand, programs, and impact across digital and community channels. This role drives content planning, publishing, and performance tracking; safeguards brand standards; and collaborates across teams (Programs, Development, Strategic Relations) to turn stories into measurable engagement and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Maintain a rolling content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube/Shorts, and email.
Align campaigns with program cycles, fundraising, and partnerships; integrate seasonal hooks and awareness dates.
Ensure messaging is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally respectful.
Content & Creative
Draft copy, shot lists, and simple creative briefs; coordinate creators/volunteers as needed.
Produce and schedule short-form video, carousels, stories, and community spotlights.
Collect and organize consented media assets; maintain brand kits, templates, and file naming conventions.
Collaborate with Programs Officer to capture local stories and outcomes (with permissions).
Publishing & Community
Post consistently; manage comments/DMs; escalate sensitive issues; support community guidelines.
Coordinate cross-posts, collabs, and UGC; engage partners and local champions.
Analytics & Optimization
Track KPIs (reach, saves, shares, CTR, watch time, email metrics) and report monthly.
Test hooks, thumbnails, titles, and CTAs; iterate based on data.
Support website updates and SEO basics (metadata, on-page copy) in collaboration with web admins.
Brand & Risk Management
Uphold brand voice, equity-centered language, and accessibility (alt text, captions).
Ensure media consent, privacy, and safeguarding requirements are met.
Prepare holding statements and escalation paths for issues/crisis moments, in collaboration with leadership.
Collaboration
Liaise with Director of Funding & Development (or Strategic Finance & Impact Investment) for campaign assets and donor/sponsor spotlights.
Provide materials for board reports and grant reporting; archive proof of performance.
Ensure timely filing of charity-related documents and compliance with CRA financial regulations
Maintain clear, organized digital records and documentation

Comfortable with Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and basic analytics dashboards.
Understanding of equity-centered communications and community care online.
Basic Canva/Adobe, email marketing is an asset, but not required

Role Overview:
The Programs Officer — Okanagan Chapter supports the local design, coordination, and delivery of Infinite Wave Foundation (IWF) programs across the Okanagan region. This role bridges community partners, facilitators, volunteers, and participants to ensure programs are trauma-informed, culturally respectful, and outcomes-driven. The Officer stewards logistics, communications, data collection, and continuous improvement so each program is impactful, safe, and aligned with IWF’s mission and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Delivery
Coordinate end-to-end logistics (venues, schedules, materials, A/V) for Okanagan programs and events.
Support curriculum implementation (e.g., youth financial literacy, healing-centered workshops) ensuring fidelity to program models.
Manage participant intake, consent, attendance, and accessibility needs.
Confirm land acknowledgements and cultural protocols for each gathering.
Partnerships & Community Relations
Maintain relationships with schools, community orgs, municipalities, sponsors, and service providers.
Source and brief facilitators/mentors; coordinate volunteer shifts and onboarding.
Represent IWF locally with professionalism, equity-centered practice, and kindness.
Data, Reporting & Quality
Collect required surveys, testimonials, and outcome data; ensure privacy and secure storage.
Track KPIs (participation, completion, satisfaction, impact metrics) and submit monthly reports.
Document lessons learned and recommend improvements for future cycles.
Budget & Risk
Work with Finance Officer and Director of Programs to align budgets, track expenses, and submit receipts.
Maintain risk registers for events (waivers, emergency plans, incident reporting).
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and child/youth protection standards.
Collaboration & Communications
Coordinate with Marketing Officer to share stories, photos (with consent), and program outcomes.
Provide timely updates for Board and funder reporting; support grant deliverables.
Maintain proactive communication with the Board Chair, Treasurer, and Executive Team to ensure alignment on financial decisions and priorities
Provide consistent updates to the Executive Team and collaborate closely with other directors to align development strategies with organizational goals
Qualifications:
Experience in program coordination, community development, education, or event logistics (nonprofit preferred).
Strong organizer with excellent communication, follow-through, and people skills.
Familiarity with trauma-informed, culturally safe practices; commitment to equity and inclusion.
Comfortable with Google Workspace and simple data tracking (Sheets/Forms).
Based in the Okanagan region; ability to travel locally as needed.
Asset: experience working with youth and families; Valid BC driver’s license
